The Nani Martin winery is a family business located in Valdobbiadene, in the subarea of “Cartizze”, between Saccol and San Giovanni.
The history of the company dates back to 1915 when Giovanni Vettoretti, nicknamed “Nani dei Martin” the great-grandfather of the current owners, began to grow the grapevines.
Over the years, the management of the business passed from generation to generation.
It is currently run by Giovanni and his son Diego, the winery’s current wine technician.
The enhancement of the territory, the constant pursuit of quality both in the vineyard and in the winery are fundamental values for the company.
Part of the grapes coming from the estate’s vineyards were vinified and bottled as far back as 1975 At that time, the winery was located underneath the home of the owners.
The new Winery was built in 2011, expanding the production capacity, purchasing new machinery, and setting up a small laboratory and tasting room.
The company follows the entire production chain, starting from the vineyard where the best grapes are selected.
The grapes are picked strictly by hand and then vinified in the winery with the use of new techniques.

The vineyards owned by the company are located inside the area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG.
The most important and most historical plot of land is located in the sub-area of Cartizze, near the winery.
Other vineyards are located in Valdobbiadene and in Santa Maria di Feletto.
The exposure of the vineyard, composition of the soil and special microclimate in these areas and specifically in the Cartizze subarea, guarantee greater quality and maturation of the grapes.
